Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site may earn us a commission. Here's how that works and what it does and doesn't change.
The plain version
AI for Service Contractors may take part in referral or affiliate programs run by some of the software vendors listed here. When we do, a link to that vendor may be an affiliate link: if you click it and go on to buy, the vendor pays us a commission. You pay the same price either way.
Which links are affiliate links
Any affiliate link is marked where it appears: the "Visit" button on that tool's page carries a note saying it's an affiliate link, and the link is tagged as sponsored for search engines. A link without that note is a plain link and earns us nothing. Most links on this site are plain links.
What it doesn't change
- Whether a tool is listed. Listing is free and decided by the same checks for every vendor, whether or not they have an affiliate program.
- What the listing says. Descriptions come from the vendor's own published materials, checked by a person. A commission never buys a kinder write-up, a better position in a category, or a softer price note.
- The order of listings. Tools in a category are listed alphabetically. The only exception is the single marked "Featured" spot at the top, which is paid placement and is disclosed as such on the terms page.
Paid placement
Featured listings are a separate arrangement: a vendor pays a flat monthly fee for the top position in one category. They are always labeled "Featured" and described on the tool's own page as paid placement.
